Florida Citizens Alliance Inc. (“Corporation”) is a Florida nonprofit corporation and is tax-exempt under IRC § 501(c)(3).

In consideration of the mutual terms, the Corporation hereby employs the Consultant as an independent contractor under the following terms and conditions:

Services

Describe the Education Consultant (“Consultant”) services to be performed (“Services”), including scope; timing and devoted time; standards; any equipment, tools, or materials to be supplied by Corporation; deliverables and other work product; whether Services are required to be performed by particular individual(s); and any reporting requirements (the default provisions are contained in Section 1 of the attached Terms and Conditions):

As an Education Consultant, you will support and guide individuals and Churches in establishing and operating successful non-traditional learning environments (microschools). You will be responsible for a specific geographical territory, where you will identify potential microschool founders (clients) and equip them to open a public school alternative. You will leverage your experience and passion for alternative education to mentor and advise your clients, ensuring they meet their goals and their microschools are set up for long-term success.

Your role includes:

  • Consulting and Mentorship: Provide advice and guidance to clients based on your experience, and your ability to research and problem-solve. Help them navigate the challenges of starting and running their non-traditional learning environment. 
  • Schoolbox Course Completion Support: Work with clients as they complete SchoolBox courses, ensuring they stay on track and meet their objectives.
  • Regular Meetings: Conduct a minimum of 8 meetings with each client (2 hours per SchoolBox course), focusing on course content and other relevant topics. Attend a bi-weekly internal team meeting remotely.
  • Timely Communication: Maintain clear and timely communication with clients to address their needs and concerns. Present bi-weekly status updates for your region at the bi-weekly team meeting.
  • Community Engagement: Build strong relationships within the community, heavily focusing on churches, to foster support for microschools and the broader goals of the Florida Citizen’s Alliance.

Compensation

Describe the compensation to be paid by Corporation to Consultant for Services, and the timing for payment of that compensation (the default provisions are contained in Section 2 of the attached Terms and Conditions):

Consultant will be compensated for Services according to the terms specified in the Performance-Based Compensation Package (document attached). In addition, Consultant also has the opportunity to earn additional commissions for all “Net Sales” that are directly driven through their individual marketing efforts. Net Sales are defined in the individual affiliate marketing agreements. Commission payments for Net Sales will be issued according to the terms defined in the individual affiliate marketing agreements.

Any Consultant found to commit commission fraud will be immediately removed from the Program. The Corporation reserves the right to reverse commissions due to returns, order cancellations, and erroneous order duplications. The Corporation also reserves the right to defer or refuse commissions for disputed orders. 

Charges, Costs, and Expenses:

The Consultant will be reimbursed by the Corporation for charges, costs, and expenses incurred in connection with the Consultant’s performance of the Services. (the default provisions are contained in Section 2 of the attached Terms and Conditions): 

Upon completion of an Ambassador Expense Form provided by the Corporation, the Consultant will be reimbursed for charges, costs, and expenses incurred in connection with the Consultant’s performance of the Services. On the 18th of every month, we will send you a reminder to fill out and submit an expense report where you will list your reimbursable expenses. Consultants are expected to submit completed expense reports and provide digital copies of all corresponding receipts by the 20th of every month. Once approved, checks will be issued on the 1st of every month; please allow 5-7 business days to receive a check in the mail.

Term & Termination

The term of this agreement is one (1) year from the effective date. This agreement will automatically renew at the end of each term for successive one (1) year terms unless either party gives the other written/verbal notice of termination prior to the end of the relevant term. Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may terminate this agreement at any time, with or without cause (the default provisions are contained in Sections 3 and 4 of the attached Terms and Conditions).

Agreement:

Corporation agrees to engage Consultant to perform the Services, and Consultant agrees to be so engaged and to perform the Services, in accordance with this Education Consultant Services Agreement and the attached Terms and Conditions (together, “Agreement”).
